"Thanks to Irene Loudon I have now enjoyed 14 years of good health. In March 1982 I experienced what I would term the ‘real flu’: temperature, swollen glands, sore throat, headache, muscle and joint pain. Eventually, I was diagnosed as suffering from M.E. / post viral syndrome with traces of Epstein-Barr and Coxsackie B virus in blood tests. I received treatment in both hospitals in Glasgow which specialise in this condition. Despite this and many alternative therapies including osteopathy, acupuncture, hypnotism, submersion in cold baths, shiatsu, visits to a chiropractor and a nutritionist, I continued to suffer from joint and muscle pain and extreme fatigue. I was bed-ridden for periods of up to 3 months and during periods of remission I could achieve very little.
In 1989, I had my amalgam fillings removed and enjoyed a longer period of remission which came to an abrupt end with the birth of my second child. In 1994 I was at a very low ebb when I heard about the success that Irene Loudon was having with ME and similar conditions. Within six weeks of starting her treatment my life turned round 100% and I suddenly found myself able to return to work. My diary from the hospital gauging how I felt on a scale of 1 - 10 was superfluous. Irene’s treatment consisted of the use of a combination of therapies which were appropriate to my condition and an adjustment to my diet. Although I was fit enough to work after six weeks my treatment carried on for a period of a few months until my body had fully recovered.
